Welcome Volunteers

Learning English is difficult and takes years of time studying and practicing. Although it is easy to take a class focusing on grammar, few opportunities exist to practice speaking with others. So, that's why we are here. We'd like to provide volunteers, like you, to become conversation partners to our participants to give them plenty of opportunity to talk, talk, talk.

Currently, we are accepting applications from participants living in the US that are 18 years old or older. Most of our participants' native country is somewhere in the Middle East including Turkey, Jordan and Syria.

Volunteers will arrange to hold up to 2 sessions each week with a total of 2 hours based on your availability. Both in-person and online sessions are available. Each session will focus on practicing spoken English in a relaxed and comfortable way. We always pair men with men and women with women.
